It's just that they could get a better fame by not releasing everything. Fewer but better finishes would pay off in the long term. Sweeter wines work a lot better than regular wines. Bruichladdich: doesn`t produce for a blender, so to get some volume, they make finishes ... and to sell young whisky (to finance stocks), they sell the private casks.
