In case you eagerly started looking for forgotten bottles of Glendrostan, I’m afraid you’ve been pranked my friend… Sorry.
Although it sounds like some fake Russian GlenDronach, the bottle is real of course and the pear-shape with tin cap is very rare indeed, I’ve only found this one bottle in auction archives. But it’s not as great as we hoped.
I would score it in the lower 60s (some of us even lower), it’s simply a rather flat and uninspired old blend like there were so many. And I doubt other bottle shapes or older versions are entirely different, alas.
