Nose: a typical mix for this era. Plenty of freshly cut apples, lime and greengages. Also green tea, hints of almonds and mint. Fresh linen and white flowery notes. Subtle cardamom.

Mouth: sweet fruits. More apples and pears, a little grapefruit and unripe pineapple. Always with a zesty undertone and a subtle grassy side. Ginger. Hints of shortbread. Avery light waxy touch.

Finish: medium long, still fresh, slighly green, on gooseberries and a hint of vanilla and oak.

Very fresh and enjoyable springtime whisky, showing a lot of charm and easy pleasures. Available from The Whisky Exchange.

Score: 87/100
