Compass Box is about to release Great King Street Artist’s Blend – Single Marrying Cask, a limited edition of their Great King Street blend.
It is bottled from a single marrying cask used to mature the whisky after the initial blending. This marrying process has become a lost art over the past 100 years, they say. The neck of the bottle will explain the effects of a marrying cask on the resulting whisky.
